Our experiences in radioactive waste management range from strategic consultation to planning and implementation of waste management measures.
For more than twenty years we have closely cooperated with national and foreign companies, research institutions, expert organisations, and authorities in all fields of radioactive waste management, thereby gaining extensive knowledge in all operational, organisational, and licensing aspects. In addition, we work closely with national and international institutions and authorities and participate in international committees of the European Commission (EC), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD/NEA). Hence, we are always up-to-date when it comes to the latest developments in science and technology and have an influence on the direction of future developments.
Our experience in licensing includes consulting and support services to applicants and authorities in nuclear licensing procedures for radioactive waste management facilities. Furthermore, we are experienced in radiation and environmental monitoring during the operation of nuclear facilities, and in supporting approval procedures for radioactive waste transport and storage casks.
We advise and assist private and public organisations and authorities in the development of national radioactive waste management strategies and concepts. We are proficient in all aspects of waste documentation, waste management and disposal procedures, institutional framework, legal, regulatory, and funding issues.
